DEAN JONES

          Dean Jones, 65, of Lewiston, died Nov. 4, 2008, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Lewiston.  

          Dean was born Oct. 14, 1943, to Howard Jones and Blanch Smith-Jones in Mondobi, Wis.  He served in the U.S. Air Force and worked for the Camas Prairie Railroad for more than 30 years and lived in Lewiston most of his life.

          He married Gloria F. LaPlante at Coeur d'Alene in 1984.  Dean is survived by his wife of Lewiston; brother, Don Jones of Lapwai and stepdaughters, Cindy Toste-Burbank of Loleta, Calif., Raeann Cook of Fort Collins, Colo., and Lorissa Cook of Spokane.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

          A graveside memorial will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at Lewis-Clark Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Lewiston.
