Kenneth LeRoy Nelson, 64, of Las Vegas, passed away Friday, July 6, 2007.  He was born Jan. 2, 1943, in Clarkston, Wash., grew up in Idaho, and had resided in Nevada since 1995. 

Kenneth was a retired general foreman in the construction industry.  He and his family were very proud that he served as a volunteer fireman in Lewiston, Idaho. 

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Roberta Nelson; his daughters, Kari Mackey and Michelle Scott, both of Lewiston, Idaho; son, Cody Nelson of St. Louis; stepchildren, Kelly and Steve Collins, both of Las Vegas, and Buffy Collier of Olympia, Wash.; and 14 grandchildren in Nevada, Idaho and Washington. 

Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Saturday, July 14, with service to follow, both at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.  Interment will follow at Palm Valley View Cemetery.  Donations can be made to charity of choice.
